About
Fiona Finneran
My Story
Hi, I’m Fiona, Mum of 4 and a CORU registered Dietitian. I have a passion for providing evidence-based nutrition information, debunking myths and misconceptions, helping you navigate the often confusing world of nutrition to help you improve your overall health and well-being.
I graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor in Science (Level 8) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the Trinity College, Dublin & Graduate Diploma in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the Dublin Institute of Technology. In 2023 I completed the ‘Green Cert’, a Level 5 Certificate in Agriculture & Level 6 Specific Purpose Certificate in Farming.
Over the past 18 years I have worked in a number of hospitals in the west of Ireland gaining experience in healthy eating for prevention of chronic disease, weight management, nutrition before, during and after pregnancy, diabetes in pregnancy, coeliac disease, irritable bowel disease, oncology and nutrition for healthy aging.
My approach is holistic, non-judgemental and compassionate. My aim is to empower you to make informed choices that are realistic, sustainable, and enjoyable, in turn, helping you develop a positive relationship with food.
