About Fiona
I began working as a Dietitian in 2007, the same year I met a long distance truck driver (whom I eventually married).
As a child & teenager I was woken many nights by the ringing of the Scania breakdown phone (my Dad worked for Scania for over 40 years) – I would regularly hear of truck drivers who were in a hurry to drop or collect a load, or to make a boat or who needed to get home for a family occasion.
By mixing my knowledge of the trucking world with over 17 years experience helping clients with excess weight, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, stomach and bowel issues, I have created this booklet to help truck drivers stay healthy while on the road.
While there may be times there is only ‘an unhealthy option’ available, I hope the information I have given you will help you make the healthier choice more often.
